Architecture History and Theory
Principal developments in the early world from the ancient to revolutionary period to the present day are taught here. Buildings will be explored with reference to major contemporary examples and the work and philosophy of significant exponents. Students will undertake a major research of a significant building, complete with investigation of the major influences that led to its development and in turn its influence in other architectural aspects.

Sketching Analysis
A documentation and architectural analysis of Ancient & Modern architecture buildings located around the Klang Valley. The sketches of the heritage buildings along with photos and diagrams are to be compiled in an A4 sketchbook.
Comparative Analysis
A research analysis through chronological indices, assembly of illustration and text, diagramming, and basic principles of form, space, & order of 2 selected buildings (Ancient and Modern Malaysian Architecture).
